Challenge: One Top for Three Days

Equipment as a brand is not a cheap one so as I was deciding whether to buy the top or not, it took me a while. But the first thing that entered my mind was, “It’s a classic and at the same time, a basic piece. I probably will be able to wear it often anyway.” A week after buying the top, I still have not decided on when to wear it or what to wear it with. So I challenged myself to wear the top again and again for the next three days.

I think this is an interesting and exciting challenge to share with all of you.

DAY 1

Day 1, the top was layered with a Chosen the Label black v-neck camisole. I was going for a 1990’s era look, so I paired both tops with a cropped flared white jeans from Zara. These cropped flared jeans are perfect. Didn’t think I would ever find jeans that would fit me so perfectly from Zara. And it is an affordable piece so I’m really glad that I got it. With that being said, I completed this vintage look with a slingback block-heels from Chanel and a tiny box bag from Little Liffner.

Alternatives:
Cropped flared white jeans
Mother
YSL
ASOS (denim instead of white but it’s affordable)

Slingback block-heels
Asos (White)
Asos (Black)
Shoeland (very similar but not Chanel)

Box bag
Little Liffner (Lizard effect leather)
Little Liffner (Luxe suede)

DAY 2

Do you ever get that feeling where you have all your outfits prepared except that on the day itself you just feel too lazy to dress up?

Well, that happened..

I decided to ditch the prepared outfit and go with this casual one. I paired my top with embroidered denim jeans from Zara (click here for more details about this pair). And completed the entire outfit with this really cute pair of mules from Zara and my medium Faye bag from Chloé (Here‘s a similar medium Faye). As you can see I’ve been visiting Zara here in Sydney quite a lot and I’m pretty impressed with their recent collection.

Sportsgirl
Asos
Asos – loafer heeled mules

Day 3 – today’s look was more like 90’s preppy but work appropriate.

I wore the same tops from Day 1 and simply paired it with flared trousers from Idée to make the overall outfit look more work appropriate (if you want more details about their shop, simply click this link to my previous post) and lace-ups from Scanlan Theodore.

I especially love this pair of flared trousers because they have slits on both sides of the trousers and they’re made of silk!

Alternatives:
Flared trousers
Tory Burch
Opening Ceremony

Lace-ups
Missguided
Asos
Choies (this one is super cute)

Finally, I am very glad that I decided to invest on this classic and basic white top because more than these three outfits the past few days, I know that I’ll be able to re-wear this top in the future without anyone noticing.

Hope you liked that and thanks for visiting my page. If there’s anything you want in my content, please do comment below. I’d be more than happy to hear from you.
