Today, sitting in a total of five classes from 9:30AM-7:30PM was an absolute pain. It was definitely the most boring, slow and useless school day I have ever had.
Neither my uni nor my professors are to be blamed for this day. It’s not normally this painful to sit in class on a Monday. I’m assuming that it is the Monday and after-break blues.
In one of my breaks, I decided to create one of these “uni essentials,” but this is just my personal one. I think that everyone should have their own unique ones, just as we have our own different personalities and behaviours, and our own unique styles of doing make-up.
My first “uni essential” is a comfortable outfit. I don’t think that there is room for a lot of fashion on a school day. It just takes up too much of your time, brain space and effort.
Although comfort is very subjective, my personal comfortable outfit is a pair of jeans or shorts (depending on the weather), a top, and perhaps a cardigan. It’s usually smart to carry around a jacket or cardigan during Spring here in Sydney as the temperature fluctuates from 18C-27C in some days.
Bag from Goyard and slip-ons from Country Road
Other things that complete this uni outfit are a spacious bag and comfortable slip-ons.
Last few “uni essentials” include a laptop to work on, Ray-Ban aviator classic sunglasses, Dior wallet (to buy recovery food) and Burt’s Bees tinted lip balm. No idea if I’m just overly sensitive or Sydney weather really cracks your lips, but I feel that carrying a lip balm around is very important.
My day was not good, but keeping my fingers crossed that I have a great dinner to make up for today. And as always, hoping that you’re having a wonderful day, whichever time zone you’re in.
P.S. If you haven’t noticed yet, I’m extremely sunburnt from my Cairns trip. My skin is crusting really badly. If you have any idea at all on how to control this, email me or leave a comment below. Thanks guys!
